Glen Tan met with a motorcycle accident in Nov 2009. He broke his neck and his lungs were punctured and was gasping for air. He sustained a spinal cord injury C5/C6 burst fracture, a cage was planted on his spinal cord to secure the injured area. He was confirmed paralyzed from chest downward with no finger function. Life was tough then. He met a mouth artist, Aaron Yeo who introduced him to mouth painting. He was truly amazed with Aaron’s paintings. He went to the library to get books on acylic and oil painting and was really interested then. In March 2013, he joined MFPA as a Student member receiving a monthly scholarship.
